Donald
Trump has achieved something genuinely remarkable in his short time as
President. He has successfully united billions of strangers, from every
country in the world, in the knowledge that they themselves actually have the
ability to be better than the President of the United States of America.
When he pulled the USA out of the landmark Paris Agreement on June 1st 2017, the world ignited with a newly unsheathed passion for the environment. People all over the planet realised how much difference one person can make through their choices, their words and their actions. President Trump's failure to act responsibly thrust this duty to the rest of us wherever we are in the world, whoever we are in the world and governments, companies, organisations and individuals everywhere rose to this challenge. So I write this blog to do my part, to fuel this newfound spirit and to help you, as stewards of the world, to live according to Paris.
I will be spreading ideas and inspiration, science and (real) news, and I hope to learn just how easy it can be to live an environmentally and ethically sustainable life. But for today, I’d just like to wish all of you a magnificent World Environment Day.

to be 70 miles long, 300 feet wide and 1/3 of a mile deep. It has since grown longer and additional fractures have developed. More information is
